US Cryptocurrency Industry Accused of Buying Legislation
US Democratic Senator Bernie Sanders has launched a scathing attack on the country's cryptocurrency industry. In a post on 'X' platform, he accused it of attempting to buy US legislation through large-scale spending.
Sanders stated that 'cryptocurrency billionaires spent nearly $300 million on the midterm elections', while President Donald Trump and his family made over $1.4 billion from cryptocurrency deals.
The senator emphasized that 'the Senate must say no' to the proposed 'Clarity' bill, which he believes serves the interests of cryptocurrency companies rather than the public good.
