US Dominates Global Bitcoin Hashrate Following China's Regulatory Crackdown
The United States now dominates the global Bitcoin hashrate, accounting for approximately 37.4% of the total at around 375 EH/s as of Q2 2026.
This concentration comes after a massive migration from China following regulatory actions in Xinjiang and the Inner Mongolia ban.
Foundry USA, a subsidiary of Digital Currency Group, manages about 30% of the network hashrate.
The company's dominance positions the US as the primary center for institutional mining, with BitVentures directing its mining hashrate to Foundry USA Pool in April 2026 for more predictable rewards.
