This comes after a recent White House meeting, where President Donald Trump met with industry figures including Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong and Garlinghouse himself.

The meeting focused on ways to adjust remaining issues and secure senators who support the 'Clarity bill', which contains measures to clarify the regulation of crypto assets in the United States.

Garlinghouse attended the meeting and later tweeted, 'Making America the crypto capital of the world is within reach - let's finish the job.'
