Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong has urged the US to catch up with other major economies in establishing clear regulations for cryptocurrency trading.

The US is falling behind countries like those in the G20, as well as the UK, which have already put regulatory frameworks in place for crypto trading.

Armstrong pointed out that most G20 nations have established rules for cryptocurrency trading, and the UK has done so recently. However, the US remains an exception despite being a key player in the world's largest financial market.

The Coinbase CEO is calling on the Senate to pass the CLARITY Act by September 15, which would provide much-needed clarity for crypto traders in the US.
