US Seizes Alameda-Linked Bitcoin in Latest Move Against FTX

The US government has taken possession of some Bitcoin linked to Alameda, according to reports.

A small portion of the $78,690 in BTC was transferred from Alameda accounts. The cryptocurrency platform Arkham did not confirm whether this transfer was a sale and declined to reveal the target address.

This is not the first time assets connected to FTX and Alameda have been moved to Coinbase Prime; similar transactions occurred in May and July of last year.

In October 2025, partial payments totaling $627.9 million were made, with distributions given to affected parties.
