US Spot-Bitcoin ETFs on Pace for Record-Low Monthly Inflow
US spot-Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) are on pace to post their smallest monthly net inflow on record, according to data from SoSoValue. From July 1 through July 29, these funds drew in about $205 million in net inflows. With two trading days left in the month, this pace still points to the weakest monthly net inflow on record.
This comes after US spot-Bitcoin ETFs posted net outflows of $2.43 billion in May and $4.52 billion in June. Despite this trend, the funds are increasingly likely to finish July back in positive territory. However, the recovery in institutional demand remains limited.
US spot-Ethereum ETFs have held up somewhat better, drawing about $343 million in net inflows from July 1 through July 29. These funds also logged monthly net outflows in May and June but appear set to return to net inflows in July.
