US Stock Market Futures Rise Slightly Ahead of Non-Farm Payrolls Report

The US stock market futures rose slightly in premarket trading on August 7 as investors await the release of the July non-farm payrolls report. The Dow, S&P 500, and Nasdaq 100 futures climbed 0.11%, 0.24%, and 0.56% respectively.

Gold prices surged nearly 1.8% to around $4,320, while international oil prices fell slightly after rising the previous trading session. WTI crude dropped about 1.6% to around $76.9, and Brent crude fell about 1.3% to around $81.9.

Cryptocurrencies maintained narrow fluctuations ahead of the non-farm payrolls data. Bitcoin (BTC) fluctuated around $64,900, up about 1% on the day.
