US Stocks Surge in Premarket Trading, Led by Accenture and Vicor
The U.S. stock market is set to open in two hours, with several stocks already showing significant gains in pre-market trading. Accenture PLC Cl A (ACN) is leading the pack, up 17.3%, followed by Vicor Corp. (VICR) with an 11.9% increase. Essex Property Trust Inc. (ESS), Cognizant Technology Solutions Corp. (CTSH), and Sun Communities Inc. (SUI) are all posting gains of at least 8%.
However, not all stocks are performing well. Corteva Inc. (CTVA) and Sun Life Financial Inc. (SLF) are down, with Corteva falling 79.6% and Sun Life Financial declining 10.2%.
The S&P 500 futures are also showing a slight gain, up 0.18%, while Dow Jones Industrial Average futures are down 0.02%. The Cboe Volatility Index futures are up 1.36%.
