USDC Dominates Stablecoin Settlements as EUR -> USDC Becomes Busiest Corridor
Paybis, a global crypto and fiat infrastructure provider, has released updated figures on settlement activity for its payment service provider (PSP) clients. The data shows that PSP settlement volume is up 106% year over year between January-August 2025 and January-August 2026.
The top five currency corridors account for approximately 99.5% of the volume, with EUR -> USDC being the single busiest corridor processed by Paybis. This route accounted for about 59% of all conversion volume processed by the company between January and July 2026.
The data also reveals a significant shift in stablecoin usage among PSPs. Over a 13-month window (July 2025 to July 2026), USDC's share of stablecoin volume climbed from roughly 21% to about 75%, overtaking other leading stablecoins and becoming the dominant settlement token by volume around April 2026.
