The cryptocurrency and financial sector has seen several updates recently. One of the notable developments is that LuLu Financial Holdings has recorded a decrease of between 25% to 30% in its cross-border settlement costs compared to traditional correspondent banking.

This reduction in operational costs is attributed to the use of USDC, a stablecoin issued by Circle. The adoption of USDC has enabled LuLu Financial Holdings to scale global remittances efficiently.

Onafriq, a pan-African network connecting nearly 1 billion people across more than 40 African markets, has also adopted USDC as a settlement rail for cross-border transactions.
