USDC Integrates into Banking Infrastructure via Circle-Volante Partnership

Circle and Volante Technologies have partnered to bring USDC payment and settlement workflows into Volante's existing payments infrastructure.

The integration covers minting, redemption, wallet registration, funding, and wallet-to-wallet payments alongside traditional payment rails.

Volante's platform already serves financial institutions, including four of the top five global corporate banks and seven of the top 10 U.S. banks.

Nikhil Chandhok, Circle's chief product and technology officer, stated that banks need tangible ways to see how digital dollars can factor into their operations.

The partnership is notable for its focus on coexistence rather than replacement, with traditional payment systems remaining in place.
