USDC Surges Past 75% Market Share in PSP Settlement Volumes
The payment volume processed by Paybis's payment service provider (PSP) clients has seen a significant increase, reaching a 106% year-over-year growth between January-August 2025 and January-August 2026.
This surge in volume is mainly driven by the EUR-to-USDC corridor, which accounted for about 59% of all conversion volume processed by Paybis between January and July 2026. Other stablecoins contributed another 32%, making up approximately 90% of the market observed.
More notably, USDC's share of stablecoin volume has dramatically increased from around 21% to about 75% in a 13-month window (July 2025 to July 2026). This shift occurred around April 2026, when USDC overtook other leading stablecoins as the dominant settlement token by volume.
Konstantins Vasilenko, Co-founder & CBDO of Paybis, commented on this development: 'USDC's share of the volume we settle nearly quadrupled in a year, and EUR -> USDC is now the single busiest corridor we process.'
