USDe Stablecoin Briefly Loses Dollar Peg on Binance

Ethena's USDe stablecoin experienced a brief price deviation on Binance on September 22, falling to $0.9202 from its dollar peg.

The incident occurred about an hour before a scheduled suspension of deposits and withdrawals on the exchange, which some experts noted may have contributed to the price drop.

However, the company's underlying mechanism was not confirmed to be at fault, with prices recovering quickly to around $0.9996 within minutes.

This is the second time USDe has experienced a localized price deviation on Binance, with a similar incident occurring in October 2025 when the token briefly fell to $0.65 during a broad market sell-off.
