USDT Market Cap Plummets $4 Billion as Stablecoin Demand Dries Up
The stablecoin market has experienced a significant decline in recent months, with Tether's (USDT) market capitalization dropping by approximately $4 billion over the past two months.
According to CryptoQuant, the 30-day moving average of this metric reached $4.8 billion, highlighting the scale of changes in the cryptocurrency market.
Analysts note that since the end of June 2026, the supply of USDT has been in a negative trend, with a reduction recorded at -$3.64 billion as of August 10, 2026.
The decline in USDT's market capitalization is directly correlated with the price of Bitcoin, which may indicate a general cooling of the digital asset market.
