USDT Payments Come to WalletConnect Pay's TRON Infrastructure

WalletConnect Pay has expanded its payment infrastructure to include support for Tether (USDT) payments on the TRON network. This development allows merchants and payment providers to integrate online and offline transactions with a single setup.

The integration enables users to pay directly from their USDT balances held in their wallets without needing to make separate transfers or complete additional payment steps.

The support also includes sanctions-list screening and Travel Rule data capture, which records information required for certain cryptocurrency transfers. This feature ensures that all transactions comply with regulatory requirements.
