USDT Returns to Bitcoin Network via Utexo
Tether's USDT is set to return to the Bitcoin network through Utexo this month, bringing several new features for users of the largest cryptocurrency. According to a report by Cointelegraph, the integration will allow for private transfers, direct swaps between BTC and USDT, and Bitcoin-backed loans.
The integration is designed to support USDT alongside Bitcoin, including direct BTC-USDT swaps. This will enable users to exchange the two assets through Utexo without relying on a separate process to move between Bitcoin and the stablecoin.
USDT is Tether's dollar-pegged cryptocurrency, widely used for transfers and trading across blockchain networks. The integration places the stablecoin within a set of services built around Bitcoin transactions.
