USDT Returns to Bitcoin Network via Utexo This Month
Tether's USDT stablecoin is set to return to the Bitcoin network through Utexo this month, bringing a range of new features to the world's largest cryptocurrency network. According to Cointelegraph, the integration will include support for private transfers, direct swaps between Bitcoin (BTC) and USDT, and Bitcoin-backed loans.
The integration is designed to bring USDT-denominated functionality into a Bitcoin-focused environment, expanding the range of transactions and financial services available through Utexo.
USDT is Tether's dollar-pegged cryptocurrency, widely used for transfers and trading across blockchain networks. The return of USDT to the Bitcoin network is expected to provide users with greater flexibility and convenience when interacting with the cryptocurrency.
Utexo's plans also include Bitcoin-backed loans, which will allow users to borrow USDT collateralized by their Bitcoin holdings. The specifics of the lending service, including loan terms and collateral requirements, have not been disclosed.
