USDT Supply Plunges to Historic Low Amid Market Turmoil
The market capitalization of USDT has fallen to $183 billion, its lowest level since October 2025. Analysts say this decline in supply is one of the deepest in cryptocurrency history.
Over the past 60 days, the USDT supply has decreased by approximately $4 billion. This indicates a significant outflow of funds from the stablecoin and an increase in liquidity shortages. In just 11 days, nearly $870 million has been withdrawn from the market, showing the acceleration of this process.
Experts note that stablecoins are a primary source of liquidity for the cryptocurrency market, so a decrease in supply directly affects market conditions. Analysts emphasize that a liquidity shortage complicates Bitcoin's recovery, although historically such phases have preceded the exhaustion of selling pressure.
