Valdora Unlocks Real-World Yield for Everyday Investors with Composable Vaults
Valdora is a company that provides liquid staking and onchain vault infrastructure. CEO Waseem Salim has over a decade of experience in fintech, having worked at the Algorand Foundation before joining Valdora.
The core problem Valdora solves is making real-world yield accessible to everyday users on-chain. Most onchain yield today is circular and relies on crypto activity feeding itself, with no connection to the real economy. In contrast, traditional institutional-grade strategies have been inaccessible for DeFi users until now.
Valdora's solution is to offer a bridge between real-world yield and on-chain assets. Users can deposit stablecoins into a vault, which then routes capital to a strategy partner working in the real economy. The user receives a liquid vault token representing their position, which appreciates as the strategy earns.
Unlike traditional savings accounts or high-yield bank accounts, Valdora's vaults come with a different risk profile. They offer transparency and composability, allowing users to access their funds while still earning yield. The underlying strategies have multi-month or multi-year horizons but the user can sell or use the token itself without waiting for the strategy to mature.
