Valour Launches Actively Managed Digital Asset Strategy with AI-Driven Hedge Fund
DeFi Technologies' subsidiary Valour has launched its first actively managed digital asset strategy through its new business line, Valour Funds SPC. The company's Smart Crypto Fund SP is a hedge fund for professional and qualified investors, developed and managed by Neuronomics AG.
The fund uses proprietary AI models to adjust allocations across a selection of liquid digital assets, rather than holding fixed exposure to a single cryptocurrency or static basket. It invests selectively when the balance of opportunity and risk looks favourable and cuts exposure when model signals weaken.
By combining its institutional fund platform with Neuronomics' AI-based systematic investment expertise, Valour can offer professional investors an actively managed strategy within an institutional framework. This move pushes Valour beyond passive products into active management, building on its range of more than 100 digital asset ETPs, which it says is more than any other digital asset manager globally.
