Valour Unveils AI-Powered Hedge Fund for Institutional Investors
Valour, the digital asset exchange-traded product arm of DeFi Technologies, has launched its first hedge fund, Smart Crypto Fund SP. This AI-powered strategy is designed for professional and qualified investors only.
The fund uses Neuronomics' proprietary AI ensemble to decide what assets to hold, how much risk to take, and when to reduce exposure. The models analyze price, volume, and other market data over short and medium horizons, with positions confined by predefined risk budgets, per-asset limits, and concentration controls.
The launch of Smart Crypto Fund SP extends Valour's range beyond its 100 digital asset ETPs into actively managed strategies. DeFi Technologies holds a minority stake in Neuronomics, a Swiss portfolio manager authorized by FINMA. The fund draws on the company's broader infrastructure, including trading and liquidity arm Stillman Digital.
