VanEck Onchain Economy ETF Avoids Margin Calls with Leverage-Free Design

The VanEck Onchain Economy ETF, trading under the ticker NODE, bought the dip after taking losses without triggering any margin calls.

This is because NODE operates without leverage, a design choice that has allowed it to avoid spectacular implosions seen in other leveraged crypto products.

Launched on May 13, 2025, NODE focuses on the 'onchain economy', covering blockchain infrastructure, digital assets, crypto mining, and AI compute services.

The actively managed ETF currently holds between 59 and 64 positions, with its largest single holding being VanEck's own Bitcoin ETF, HODL, accounting for roughly 10.5% of the portfolio.
