VanEck Predicts $100,000 Bitcoin Price Target Next Year
Bitcoin's price may reach $100,000 next year according to Matthew Sigel, head of digital asset research at VanEck. The company manages over $32 billion in assets. Despite recent setbacks for Bitcoin, including a series of negative developments this week, the cryptocurrency held above the critical $76,000 level.
Sigel notes that current conditions in the market differ from previous cycles, with Bitcoin's volatility decreasing by approximately 50% compared to four years ago. However, rising global public debt and concerns about fiscal sustainability are among the factors supporting Bitcoin's value.
Sigel also believes that policymakers are unlikely to fix the unsustainable financial structure in the short term. This could lead to an upward trend in Bitcoin if liquidity conditions improve further. Institutional investors, including sovereign wealth funds and investment advisory firms, continue to show interest in buying Bitcoin.
