VeChain Price Faces Crucial Test as VIP-255 Upgrade Looms
The VeChain price has been hovering around $0.0070 as it faces a key test before the VIP-255 upgrade on September 16. The upgrade will bring three core protocol changes, including EIP-2935, which makes historical block hashes accessible for Ethereum-oriented proof systems and light-client designs. This change is expected to make VeChain more compatible with Ethereum.
The current resistance at $0.0070 has stalled the rally, but a break above this level could send the token price towards $0.0100 or even $0.0160. However, rejection could send the price back down to $0.0050 or lower.
The VIP-255 upgrade is scheduled to go live on September 16 at an estimated 11:15:10 UTC, and it's unclear whether buyers will be able to push through the current resistance and support the token's price.
