Velocity, formerly known as Drift, has opened claims for users affected by the $295.4 million theft from its Solana-based exchange in April.

The platform is offering one DFX token for each USDT lost in the attack, with a current compensation pool of about $3.11 million. This puts the initial redemption value at roughly $0.0104 per DFX, or approximately 1% of the reported losses.

The Foundation has capped the DFX supply at 299.5 million tokens and stated that no more will be created. Velocity plans to use platform revenue to replenish the compensation pool over time.
