Venom Mainnet Migration Completes with Faster Transaction Speeds and Bolstered Security
The Venom mainnet migration is complete, according to the Venom Foundation. The team shared the update on its official X account on October 2, 2026. The Venom mainnet is the live blockchain where real transactions take place.
The post says the network now runs on a new protocol, meaning a new set of core rules. The foundation calls it the start of a new era, not just a routine upgrade. The graphic shared with the post reads Migration Complete.
The Venom mainnet migration brings changes in five areas: speed, security, developer tools, ecosystem growth, and scalability. The new protocol is designed to provide higher transaction speeds, bolstered security, and enhanced comfort and tools for builders. It also includes baked-in acceleration vectors across the ecosystem and tailored to expanded performance needs.
Some holders may have missed the chance to move their tokens during the Venom mainnet migration. The foundation says these users can still transfer them inside the SparX wallet. The project plans to publish a full guide on the process.
