Virtune Launches Zcash ETP on Nasdaq Stockholm
Virtune AB (Publ), a Swedish regulated digital asset manager, has launched its Virtune Zcash ETP on Nasdaq Stockholm, the largest stock exchange in the Nordics. The company, which has managed to secure the trust of over 160,000 investors since its inception in 2023, now oversees approximately USD 380 million in assets under management (AUM). This positions Virtune as one of Europe’s leading issuers of regulated crypto exchange-traded products (ETPs), holding more than 90% market share for crypto ETNs on Nasdaq Nordics.
The Virtune Zcash ETP offers investors a secure and cost-effective way to gain exposure to Zcash (ZEC), a payment blockchain focusing on privacy. The ETP provides 1:1 exposure to ZEC, is 100% physically backed, and comes with a 1.49% annual management fee. It began trading on October 6, 2026, under the ticker VIRZEC in SEK.
Christopher Kock, CEO of Virtune, highlighted the company’s growth since its first product launch in May 2023. He emphasized that the Virtune Zcash ETP allows Nordic investors to easily access Zcash through online brokers like Avanza and Nordnet. The ZEC backing the ETP is held in cold storage with Coinbase, ensuring institutional-level security.
