Virtune Rebalances Crypto Altcoin Index ETP for October 2026
Virtune AB (Publ) has completed the monthly rebalancing of its Virtune Crypto Altcoin Index ETP for October 2026. The rebalancing, conducted on September 30, 2026, adjusted the weights of the crypto assets in the index to ensure equal-weighted exposure. Gram (GRAM) was removed from the index, while Litecoin (LTC) was added, bringing the total number of altcoins to ten.
The Virtune Crypto Altcoin Index ETP, listed on Nasdaq Stockholm, Nasdaq Helsinki, Xetra, and Warsaw Stock Exchange, tracks the Virtune Crypto Altcoin Index. This index includes leading alternative crypto assets, excluding Bitcoin and Ethereum, with each altcoin equally weighted to promote diversification. The rebalancing process resets the weights to maintain this equal-weighted structure.
Before the rebalancing, the index allocation on September 29, 2026, included Bitcoin Cash (11.11%), Chainlink (11.08%), Solana (10.86%), Cardano (10.07%), Stellar (9.91%), XRP (9.79%), Canton (9.78%), Hyperliquid (9.47%), BNB (9.26%), and Gram (8.68%). After the rebalancing, each of the ten altcoins, including Litecoin, was equally weighted at 10.00%. The performance of the Virtune Crypto Altcoin Index ETP for September 2026 was +15.39%.
