Visa Deepens South Korea Ties with Stablecoin and AI Payment Deal

Share

Visa has made another significant move in South Korea by partnering with Dunamu, operator of the country's largest crypto exchange Upbit.

The deal will focus on developing financial payment services using stablecoins and artificial intelligence. Specifically, the two companies plan to explore business models built around OUSD, an open-standard stablecoin.

Visa has been actively expanding its presence in South Korea this week, following a settlement infrastructure agreement with Shinhan Financial Group earlier in the week.
