Visa's Stablecoin Settlements Soar Past $20B Amid 15x Growth

Share

Visa's stablecoin settlement volume has surpassed $20 billion annually, marking a significant increase of over 15 times from last year.

The company's stablecoin-linked card programs have seen payment volumes rise by nearly 200% year-over-year, with more than 160 such programs live in its fiscal Q2.

Monthly volume has also reached approximately $1.2 billion, driven in part by the requirement for each program to fund daily settlement obligations before collecting from holders.

In a related development, Visa is expanding its on-chain lending reach by integrating its VisaNet settlement data with blockchain-based lending infrastructure.
