Visser Sees Breakout Potential in Dogecoin Amid Retail Rotation
Jordi Visser, a veteran of Wall Street with over three decades of experience, has been paying close attention to Dogecoin (DOGE) after selling out his position in Micron (MU), a semiconductor stock he rode to an eightfold return. According to Visser, the chart of DOGE is on the verge of breaking out, which would indicate that retail money is flowing back into cryptocurrency.
Visser explained that while Bitcoin (BTC) approaches its 200-day moving average and Ethereum (ETH) nears a breakthrough zone, Dogecoin's price action suggests it is about to break through as well. 'If it can break out and actually run, that would mean that retail is starting to get interested,' he said.
Visser shared his insights during an interview with Anthony Pompliano, the CEO of Professional Capital Management. Visser pointed out that Dogecoin has no institutional sponsorship, making it a unique barometer for retail investor sentiment in the cryptocurrency market.
