Volatility Shares Delays 3x XRP ETF to October 18, 2026
Volatility Shares has delayed its proposed 3x XRP ETF until October 18, 2026. The delay means that investors will have to wait even longer for a leveraged fund tracking the price of XRP.
The company had previously filed for registration with an effective date of October 2024 but has now pushed this back by two years. This is not the first time Volatility Shares has delayed one of its ETF filings, and it's worth noting that delays can sometimes be a sign of regulatory issues or changes in market conditions.
The 3x XRP ETF would offer investors a way to amplify their exposure to XRP by three times the daily movement of the asset. However, as with all leveraged products, there are risks involved, particularly in turbulent markets where the actual outcome can diverge significantly from the expected multiple.
