Vymopay: A Non-Custodial Wallet Built for Privacy-Focused Crypto Users
The February 2025 Bybit hack brought attention to a risk that had been quietly present: the permanent link between a user's exchange-verified identity and their future on-chain activity. When users withdraw crypto from a centralized exchange, they submit their destination wallet address, which is logged by the exchange.
Centralized exchange (CEX) losses have been climbing, with CeFi platform losses surging 77.5% year-over-year to $726 million in 2024, according to Immunefi's data. By mid-2025, total crypto thefts across platforms had already exceeded the entire prior year's figure.
Vymopay is a non-custodial digital asset platform built inside Telegram that aims to reduce this risk. It allows users to hold their own private keys directly and does not require them to submit identity documents to access the service, making it a 'no-KYC' wallet.
