WAFI 2026 Conference Brings Global Experts Together to Transform Agrifood Systems
The WAFI 2026 World AgriFood Innovation Conference opened on September 17 in Pinggu, Beijing. The event is a three-day conference that brings together international experts and researchers to discuss the transformation of global agrifood systems.
The conference has attracted nearly 300 foreign guests and outstanding youth representatives from over 30 organizations, research institutions, and business associations. They will be joined by more than 200 representatives from domestic universities, research institutes, large enterprises, and industry associations.
The conference adopts a '1+8+1+N' framework and covers topics such as food security, green and low-carbon development, AI in agriculture, and nutrition and health. It aims to create an open platform for academic discussions, achievement showcases, industry matchmaking, and international cooperation.
