Wall Street Firms Boost Price Targets for Crypto-Linked Stocks Ahead of Earnings
Several Wall Street firms have raised their price targets for various crypto-linked large-cap stocks ahead of their quarterly earnings reports. Baird, in particular, has designated Block (XYZ) as a 'Bullish Fresh Pick' with a price target of $106. This is an increase from the previous target of $105. Block is expected to report its third-quarter earnings on November 3, with Wall Street predicting earnings per share of $1.02 on revenue of $6.6 billion.
Piper Sandler has also raised its price target for Coinbase (COIN) to $170 from $146, while maintaining a 'Neutral' rating. The firm has increased its 2026 and 2027 earnings-per-share estimates. Coinbase has not yet announced its third-quarter earnings date, but Wall Street is expecting a loss of $0.22 per share on revenue of $1.17 billion.
Citi has made the largest target increase, more than doubling its price target for Strategy (MSTR) to $240 from $136. This is due to the firm's revised Bitcoin forecasts, which have increased by 39% to $113,000.
