Wealth Managers Flock to Crypto Amid Growing Optimism
Wealth managers are increasingly turning to cryptocurrency as an investment opportunity, according to a recent presentation by Bitwise's Head of Research Ryan Rasmussen. In his talk to 400 wealth managers, Rasmussen shared findings that 60% of those polled planned to allocate to crypto within the next year.
The audience also expressed optimism about the price outlook for cryptocurrencies, with 60% anticipating higher prices by the end of the year. This aligns with a separate survey published in March by Coinbase and EY-Parthenon, which found that 73% of institutional respondents planned to increase crypto allocations in 2026.
Bitwise's research executive also reported that 67% of those polled had not yet allocated to crypto, but were considering it. This suggests a growing interest among wealth managers in incorporating cryptocurrency into their investment portfolios.
