Webull Joins X's Cashtag Partner Program, Expanding Trading Capabilities
Webull has become the latest partner to join X's Cashtag Partner Program, connecting stock and cryptocurrency discussions on the social media platform with its investing services. The partnership, announced on October 2, allows users to seamlessly transition from discussing assets on X to executing trades on Webull's platform. This integration is part of a broader effort to bridge the gap between online conversations and financial transactions.
The partnership covers both company shares and digital assets, which are valued and represented differently. For instance, buying and selling cryptocurrencies like $BTC can occur through exchanges or other supported services, whereas traditional stocks represent ownership in a business. The integration builds on a feature introduced by X in July 2012 to organize stock discussions, which has since been expanded to include interactive charts and brokerage connections.
Webull, which reports over 28 million registered users globally, joins other prominent partners like Interactive Brokers, Moomoo, Coinbase, Gemini, and Kraken in X's Cashtag Partner Program. The program aims to facilitate seamless transitions from discovery and conversation to brokerage services, as stated by Monique Pintarelli, X's head of global advertising. With this partnership, Webull becomes the fifth U.S. partner to join the program, which was launched in September.
