Whale Breaks Silence with $381M BTC Transfer After Four-Year Drought

A significant Bitcoin whale has broken its four-year silence, transferring $381.38 million in BTC to a new address.

The transaction, which occurred without any prior indication or market hype, was recorded on the Bitcoin blockchain and is attributed to the same wallet that received an equivalent amount of coins exactly four years ago.

The owner of the capital reportedly rode out a prolonged market downturn, ignoring Bitcoin's 2025 all-time high when the coins at this address were worth over $600 million.

The transaction history reveals deep roots in one of the oldest mining networks, which collectively controls around 33,000 BTC. The emptied hub is directly linked to this network and is split into tranches of exactly 4,500 coins per wallet.
