An anonymous cryptocurrency whale has liquidated their entire position in PUMP tokens after holding for approximately 10 months, resulting in a realized loss of around $580,000. The transaction took place about an hour ago and was flagged by on-chain analyst EmberCN.
According to EmberCN, the whale originally acquired 518 million PUMP tokens in October last year at an average price of $0.00386 per token. This investment was made using 2 million USDC. The whale exited the entire position today at an average price of $0.00274 per token, receiving approximately 1.42 million SOL (worth around $1.42 million at current rates).
This represents a 29% loss on the initial investment, highlighting the volatility and risk inherent in the meme coin and small-cap token market.
