Whales' Confidence Boosts Ethereum Price Ahead of Crucial $2,000 Threshold
The Ethereum (ETH) market is showing signs of positive momentum as whales continue to accumulate the asset. A recent large withdrawal from Binance, a major cryptocurrency exchange, indicates that investors are holding onto their ETH rather than selling it on the open market.
The wallet 0x2d59 withdrew approximately $76.6 million worth of ETH in two separate transactions, with one being 30,000 ETH and the other 10,000 ETH. This is considered a significant exchange outflow and is often seen as a positive indication for the market.
Ethereum's price is currently hovering around $1,930, which is below the crucial $2,000 threshold but above the 100-day exponential moving average (EMA). The asset has been testing this resistance level and creating higher lows after bouncing back from its severe correction in June.
With a strong technical structure in place, Ethereum's short- and medium-term momentum remains positive. The Relative Strength Index (RSI) is close to 58, indicating strong bullish momentum without entering overbought territory.
