Whales Move 125 Billion Shiba Inu Tokens to Mysterious New Address
A significant transfer of Shiba Inu (SHIB) tokens has taken place, with whales moving 125.33 billion SHIB from a BitGo custody wallet to a brand-new address.
The receiving wallet currently holds approximately $678,000 in SHIB and has no public name, alias, or identifiable on-chain label, according to data from Arkham Intelligence.
The source wallet received massive deposits in the preceding days: 600 billion SHIB flowed in on September 1, 2026, from a first-time ecosystem whale catalogued as a 'trillionaire', and another 408 billion arrived on September 6 from an inactive wallet for nearly three years.
Mazrael, an analyst and veteran community member, tracked the transfer using data from Arkham Intelligence and published it on the X platform. He noted that the observed pattern is consistent with a custody segregation or an OTC agreement, although no additional evidence supports either hypothesis.
