Whales Snatch Up $112M in Dogecoin Amid Resistance at Key Level
A recent surge of buying activity in Dogecoin has seen whales scoop up $112 million worth of DOGE tokens over the past 96 hours. According to on-chain analytics platform Santiment, this accumulation pattern is consistent with previous instances throughout the year.
One notable example occurred in May 2026 when a similar 96-hour window saw 525 million DOGE purchased as the price hovered near its 200-day moving average. In September, whale wallets collectively added around 240 million tokens during a period of price volatility.
The current resistance level at $0.10 has proven stubborn for Dogecoin, with futures open interest for DOGE reaching between $1.5 billion and $1.67 billion during peak activity periods. Short liquidations in DOGE derivatives exceeded $12 million during recent accumulation phases.
