A small group of cryptocurrency and prediction market executives is set to meet at the White House on Wednesday, in what's seen as a precursor to the inaugural meeting of the CFTC's Innovation Advisory Committee.

The attendees include top brass from Coinbase, a16z, Ripple, Chainlink, Kalshi, and Paradigm, as well as trade association Digital Chamber. Patrick Witt, executive director of the president’s council of advisers for digital assets, will also be in attendance.

The meeting is expected to feature remarks from President Donald Trump and CFTC Chair Mike Selig. It's seen as a key event leading up to Thursday's 35-person Innovation Advisory Committee meeting, which includes members such as Coinbase, a16z, Ripple, Chainlink, Kalshi, and Paradigm.
