Winklevoss Twins Donate Millions to Trump Super PAC Amid Failed Clarity Act

The Winklevoss twins, known as the world's first 'bitcoin billionaires,' have made significant donations to Trump's MAGA Inc. super PAC.

Last month, each twin donated roughly $5 million worth of cryptocurrency to the super PAC, according to financial records reviewed by The Lever.

This comes at a time when the Trump administration and Big Crypto were pushing for the Clarity Act, legislation that would have created a light-touch regulatory framework for the crypto industry. However, the bill failed to pass a procedural vote in the Senate last week.

Tyler Winklevoss took to X to announce 'Plan B,' stating that the administration should '[write] Clarity through rulemaking' without congressional approval.
