Witkoff Earns $107M from Holding Company Tied to Trump Crypto Venture
Steve Witkoff, US special envoy for peace missions and veteran real estate investor, disclosed $107 million in income from a holding company tied to World Liberty Financial (WLFI) in 2025. This represents a significant jump from the $34 million he earned from the same entity in 2024.
The holding company's income is attributed to its ownership of Witkoff's stake in WLFI, which was co-founded by President Donald Trump and his sons, including Eric Trump. The venture issues a US dollar-pegged stablecoin called USD1 and sells the WLFI governance token.
Witkoff's 2025 income from the holding company is not broken down into specific categories, but it is likely that some of the revenue came from sales of WLFI tokens. In 2026, Forbes estimated that Witkoff and his family received about $130 million from such sales.
The disclosure has raised questions about potential conflicts of interest for Witkoff, who held a senior diplomatic post while earning significant income from WLFI. Lawmakers have argued that his commercial ties sit close to his diplomatic brief, which includes Middle East files and Ukraine talks.
