Cathie Wood, CEO of Ark Investment Management, has pushed back against prominent investor Jason Calacanis' assessment that Bitcoin's recent rebound is a 'dead cat bounce'.

Wood wrote on X, 'Bitcoin is not a dead cat, Jason. It still has several lives ahead,' directly countering Calacanis' claim.

The rebound in question saw Bitcoin briefly slide below $76,000 before recovering the $80,000 level.

Calacanis argued that bitcoin's recent price action is temporary and that it has lost its early vitality as it moves through a phase of institutional adoption.
