Wood Predicts Bitcoin Price Surge to $710k-$2.4m by 2030
Cathie Wood, founder of ARK Invest, has once again made headlines with her predictions for Bitcoin's price. This time, she forecasts a base-case price of $710,000 to $800,000 by 2030 and a bull-case ceiling of $2.4 million. According to her models, this represents a potential gain of roughly 1,665% from current prices.
The projections are based on ARK's Big Ideas report, which suggests Bitcoin's market cap could climb to approximately $16 trillion by 2030, inside a total crypto market cap of around $28 trillion. With the supply expected to sit near 20.5 million coins by that point, the math produces a price range under base assumptions.
Wood attributes her confidence in these numbers to two structural shifts: spot Bitcoin ETFs and corporate treasury adoption. She views spot ETFs as a permanent change to the demand landscape, while corporate treasury allocation adds a second layer of structural demand that doesn't respond to short-term price signals.
