World Chain Leaps Ahead in Blockchain Scaling with Streamed EIP-7928 Block Access Lists
World Chain has made significant strides in blockchain scaling by launching streamed EIP-7928 block access lists. This innovation allows validators to begin verifying transactions while blocks are still being built, improving efficiency and reducing validation latency.
The new implementation tackles the challenge of balancing speed with decentralization, which is a major hurdle for blockchain networks. By enabling parallel block verification, World Chain aims to reach up to one gigagas per second without increasing validator hardware requirements.
Traditionally, validators receive an entire block only after block production is complete, creating a delay before the next stage of consensus. With streamed block access lists, validators can receive transaction information continuously as the block is assembled, allowing verification to begin almost immediately.
