Worldcoin Price Soars 50 Percent Without News Trigger
The price of Worldcoin (WLD) has risen by around 50 percent in 30 days, but there is no clear explanation for the surge.
According to CoinGecko, WLD costs around $0.59 on October 4, 2026, with a gain of just under 13 percent in a week.
The token is trending on CoinGecko, but searches for the worldcoin price have picked up without any notable news or announcements from Worldcoin, the World Foundation, or Tools for Humanity.
Finwire notes that there was no announcement during the days of the rise that could count as a trigger. Instead, exchange flows show a turn in investor behavior: after three days in which holders withdrew WLD, a net total of around 911,000 WLD flowed back onto trading venues on October 3.
Experts warn that a large part of the reported trading volume looks artificial, and Finwire estimates the actual 24-hour volume at around $44 million instead of the reported $649 million. A price that rises on thin genuine trading can fall back just as quickly.
