Worldcoin Price Suffers 11% Drop Amid Hefty Capital Outflow
Worldcoin's price has been under pressure in recent hours, dropping by 11% in the early trading session on September 24th. The decline is attributed to a significant capital outflow from the perpetual market, with traders selling over $280 million worth of Worldcoin within a 24-hour period.
The net flow data shows that investors are pulling out more than they're putting in, with a negative net flow of $41.45 million. This trend is also visible in the Spot market, where investors are selling their assets at a faster rate than they're buying them, resulting in a positive net flow of just $6.02 million.
The Funding Rate data suggests that short positions still dominate the market, with a negative Funding Rate indicating that shorts are profiting from their positions more than longs. The data also shows that long positions have been liquidated at a much higher rate than shorts, with longs losing around $110.50 for every dollar lost by shorts.
